Energy raters can identify inexpensive ways to save energy
October 12, 2008
If you are trying to reduce the energy consumption in your home, I recommend hiring an energy rater. The cost ranges from $300 to $500 for a home evaluation which includes a report with advice on what you can do to improve the energy efficiency in your property. Many of the things they identify are easily fixed by the homeowner with just a little effort. For those who are not handy or too busy, you can hire them to do much of the work for you. Hiring an energy rater is a very good investment and will increase the value of your property. If you need a referral for a reputable energy rater in the triangle, please call me. (919) 357-6064
